Newsday.com: Cell Phone Cameras a New Tool for TV News

TV stations use video from phonecams in London bombing incident. This is the first time that major TV stations have used the grainy but immediate footage that comes from phonecams. However, they call it a "portend of things to come."

There are characters who are just citizens who walk around the metropolis "wired up" with "feedcams" so that any news they witness can be immediately broadcast to the Internet and everyone who is connected to the "feed."
